Nate Brown

Nate Brown enters his fourth season as an Assistant Swimming Coach for Villanova in 2021-22.
 
In his four seasons at Villanova, he has helped the women's team capture three BIG EAST Conference championships. He and the staff were also named Women's Coaching Staff of the Year each year from 2019 to 2021.
 
Brown came to Villanova after a one-year stint as the assistant coach at Hope College. Working under three-time NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year John Patnott, Brown assisted with team coaching duties, recruiting and operations. He oversaw the development of four NCAA qualifiers and was responsible for the recruitment of 12 student-athletes. Brown previously worked for the Stafford Aquatics Team in Virginia. 

During his coaching career Brown has had the opportunity to learn from some of the top coaches in the sport while serving as a swim camp counselor at Texas, Texas A&M and Indiana. He swam competitive in college at Messiah and received his Masters in Education with an emphasis in Positive Coaching.
