Villanova Career: Second in program history for the 100 Breast (55.40) and fifth in the 200 Breast (2:02.30) … Part of the 800 Free Relay team that set the Villanova record at the 2022 BIG EAST Championships (6:35.22) … Opened his career as an All-BIG EAST performer in the 800 Free Relay … Individual scorer in two events at his first conference championship … Contributed mostly in the freestyle and breaststroke as an individual and in relay action … Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in the 2021-22 season and made Athletic Director's Honor Roll for two semesters.

West Virginia (1/28): Touched second in the 200 Free (1:43.19) and third in the 200 Breast (2:15.68).

2021-22: BIG EAST Championships (2/23-26): Swam to All-BIG EAST status in the 800 Free Relay and was an individual scorer in two events … Anchored the 800 Free Relay team that recorded the fastest time in Villanova history at 6:35.22, swimming to a 1:39.79 split … Lone Wildcat in the championship final of the 100 Breast, posting a fifth-place, 55.58 personal-best time … Also posted a personal best in the 200 Breast, landing sixth at 2:02.30;
Penn State (1/28): Landed fifth and sixth-place showings in the 500 Free (4:50.70) and 100 Breast (59.85);
La Salle (11/23): Won the 100 Breast, touching in 58.98 while also placing second in the 50 Breast at 27.72;
WVU Invitational (11/18-20): Logged three top-five swims … Finished with a personal best in the 500 Free, clocking in at 4:33.02 for third place … Turned in a fifth-place showing in the 100 Breast (57.46) in the Mountaineers’ event where he also led-off the third-place 800 Free Relay with a 1:41.15 split;
Penn (11/10): First leg for the 400 Free Relay that finished second against Penn at 3:17.84 with a 49.30 split;
NJIT (11/5): Turned in a third-place showing in the 100 Breast (59.89) and swam third on the second-place 200 Free Relay with a 21.95 split;
Georgetown (10/30): Landed as high as fourth in his collegiate debut with a 1:00.62 time in the 100 Breast.
Xavier High School: Earned four varsity letters on the swimming & diving team and one varsity letter in rowing … State champion in the 500 free … Three-time SCC individual champion … Named the SCC Most Valuable Swimmer … Set five school records during his scholastic career … Named a Scholastic All-American for his academic success.

Personal: Born 5/9/03 in Killingworth, Conn. … Older of two sons of Neil and Tricia Mitchill … Has a younger brother, Patrick (17) … Mother was a collegiate track & field athlete at Providence … Hobbies include working on old cars, boating and spending time at the beach … Chose to attend Villanova for the strength of the campus community, the reputation of the Villanova School of Business and the opportunity to be a part of the successful swimming & diving program … Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business and plans to major in Accounting.
