CAREER COLLEGIATE RESULTS

Strong performer in the relays during his collegiate career who is coming off his best individual BIG EAST finish to close the 2025 outdoor season ... Finished fourth in both the preliminary heats and the final of the 400 meter hurdles at the outdoor conference meet ... It was the first time in his career he scored in an individual BIG EAST event ... Prior to the 2025 outdoor season he was already a three-time BIG EAST champion, five-time All-BIG EAST performer and seven-time BIG EAST scorer in the relay events ... All three of his gold medals have come in the distance medley relay (2023, 2024, 2025) where he has specalized on the 400 meter leg of the race ... His other all-conference honors have come in the 4x400 meter relay both indoors and outdoors in 2023 ... Recorded personal bests in the 400 meters (49.36), 400 meter hurdles (54.56) and 500 meters (1:06.84) in 2025 ... Two-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and has been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in all five of his semesters on campus.

New Trier High School: Competed on the varsity soccer team for three years as a center back and wing ... Sprinter on the track & field team both indoors and outdoors as a senior ... Earned a Central Suburban League All-Conference award in track & field and was a team captain ... Three-year starter in soccer and was a two-time Central Suburban League All-Conference award winner ... Garnered Central Suburban League All-Sectional accolades as a senior and was a team captain ... Four-time Central Suburban League Scholar-Athlete Award winner for his academic performance ... Achieved Honor Roll status academically all four years ... Three-year inductee to the Latin Honor Society.

Personal: Born 2/12/04 in Wilmette, Ill. ... One of four children of Sean and Kristie O'Neill ... Has three siblings: Conor (22), Aidan (19) and Declan (16) ... Father competed on the Villanova track & field teams from 1983-87 and is part of the Wildcats exclusive group of sub-four minute milers ... Enjoys golfing, playing soccer, traveling and going for runs in his spare time ... Chose to attend Villanova because it was exactly what he was looking for academically, was a perfect size school and had a perfect location on the east coast ...
