Career: Four-year member of the team who won 72 career matches while owning a winning record in both singles and doubles competition … Went 31-23 in singles matches, including a 25-10 tournament record … Posted a mark of 41-31 in doubles while winning 20+ matches in both tournaments (21-15) and dual competition (20-16) … As a senior in 2021-22 led the team with a combined 29 victories on the year (16-15 singles record, 13-18 doubles record) … Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete as a senior for the 2021-22 academic year … Four-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll all eight semesters of his collegiate career.
 
2021-22: Led the team with a combined 29 victories in singles and doubles matches on the year … Had a winning record of 16-15 in singles competition and ranked second on the team with five victories in dual matches to go along with an 11-4 tournament record … In doubles play was 13-18 overall, including 8-7 during the Fall tournament season … Had a big weekend at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational where he won the consolation bracket in Flight 3 singles while teaming with Josh Robinson to win the Flight 1 doubles championship … Paired with Noah Winton for a third place finish in the White draw at the Villanova Invitational … Won all three of his matches at the River City Tennis Open to finish first in his flight … In dual competition he posted singles wins against Jefferson, Coppin State, Butler, Loyola (Md.) and Marquette … His win in straight stets against Coppin State was the clinching point in a Villanova win … Teamed with Josh Robinson to reach the consolation quarterfinals at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship in La Jolla, Calif. … After falling in the Round of 128 to open the tournament, Jones and Robinson went on to defeat teams from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Boston College in the consolation draw before narrowly falling in three sets to a team from California in the quarterfinal round.
 
2020-21: Tied for the team lead with 12 doubles victories on the year … Teamed with freshman Josh Robinson to form the Wildcats most successful doubles tandem throughout the season … The pair went 12-5 (.706) overall for the year and tallied wins in all three positions in the lineup … They went 1-1 at No. 1 doubles, 6-3 in the No. 2 lineup spot and 5-1 in the No. 3 doubles position … Jones and Robinson had two separate four-match winning streaks … The first came in their first four matches of the year against Lafayette, Coppin State, La Salle and Temple; all four of those wins came in the No. 3 lineup spot … The second four-match streak featured consecutive wins at No. 2 doubles against Saint Joseph’s, Penn, NJIT and Millersville … Tallied their first win at No. 1 singles against Loyola (Md.) … In the quarterfinal round of the BIG EAST Championships the pair was tied 5-5 in their No. 2 doubles match against #3 seed Marquette but the match was still in progress when the Golden Eagles clinched the doubles point … Played one singles match and fell in straight sets in the sixth spot of the lineup in the season opener at Delaware … Team captain.
 
2019-20: Compiled a 10-4 singles record and a 7-4 doubles mark on the year while playing almost exclusively during the fall tournaments … Played in a pair of dual matches in singles competition … Lost in three sets to an opponent from UC Irvine … Had a lead in the third set in a match against Morgan State when play was halted due to the team result being decided … Went 10-3 during the fall … Teamed with senior Stefan Suarez to finish third in the Blue draw at the Villanova Invitational … Won all four of his singles matches at the home tournament … Tallied victories over opponents from Brown and Connecticut at the Brown Invite … Won two of his three matches in Flight F at the Villanova Classic … He and Suarez were 3-1 in their doubles matches at the Villanova Invitational … They also went 3-0 to reach the final of the Flight 2 doubles bracket at Saint Joseph’s … They would have matched up against teammates Daniel Cheng and Justin Suarez in the final, but the match was not played … Competed with Alex Kim during the spring … The pair lost to matches at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship, including a narrow 9-7 (5) loss to a team from Washington University in the consolation round of 32 … He and Kim posted a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles against Coppin State.
 
2018-19: Tallied a 5-3 singles record and a 9-4 doubles mark as a freshman … In his only dual match in singles play recorded a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles against Bentley … Defeated opponents from La Salle, Saint Joseph’s and Colgate at the Villanova Invitational, where he teamed with Tommy Mulflur for a third place finish in the Blue draw … The pair also finished third at the Brown Invite, posting victories over Brown and Boston University along with a loss to Boston College in the 2-and-1 tournament format … He and Mulflur were 3-0 in the Flight 2 doubles bracket at Saint Joseph’s and tallied wins over Mary Washington, Lehigh and the host Hawks … Teamed with Collin Klumb for wins at No. 3 doubles against Wilkes and Rider.
 
Episcopal School of Dallas: Played in the No. 1 singles position on the tennis team and was the team’s MVP all four years of his scholastic career … Four-time all-conference performer … Compiled a 42-5 record in the top singles spot … Named his team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman and was a team captain as a senior … Inducted to the National Honor Society and the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society.
