Spring 2015: Compiled a 0-7 record in singles play... 0-4 at No. 5 singles... 0-3 at No. 6 singles... Completed in one doubles match with William Elmore and lost at No. 3 doubles.

Fall 2014: Compiled a stat line of 6-1 in singles play... Won Flight 3 of the singles bracket in the Saint Joseph's Invitational... Combined with Matt Phelps for a doubles record of 4-3... Phelps and Burrus placed third in Villanova Invitational.

Saint Rose: Earned four varsity letters in tennis and one in soccer... Team captain and MVP of the tennis team all four years... Undefeated in division play all four years... Two time county tournament finalist... 1st team All-Shore his sophomore, junior and senior years.

Personal: Born on Nov. 20, 1995 in Spring Lake, N.J. ... Son of Richard and Patricia Burrus... Has two sisters, Carly and Bridget, and one brother, Connor... His father and uncle played collegiate tennis at Rollins College and another of his uncles played at Georgia Tech... In his free time he likes surfing and pickup soccer, basketball adn football... Business major... Chose Villanova because of its reputation, alsoBrad Adams and the rest of the tennis program were very welcoming.
