Career: Played for the Wildcats from the 2017-18 through 2020-21 seasons … Made consistent contributions throughout his career and had overall records of 25-17 (.595) in singles matches and 32-28 (.533) in doubles matches … As a singles player went 19-9 during fall tournaments … That record included a sterling start to his junior season in Fall 2019 when he reeled off a career-high seven consecutive victories, won the Flight 4 bracket at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational and later in the fall won a consolation round match at the ITA Atlantic Regional … Also was 23-13 in doubles tournament play, including four wins in consolation rounds of the highly competitive Pacific Coast Doubles Championship … His dual competition record included a 6-8 mark in singles and a 9-15 doubles record … His overall collegiate record combining singles and doubles matches was 57-45 … Three-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and three-time selection to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
 
2020-21: Compiled a 1-3 record in singles matches and a 3-6 mark in doubles competition during the season … Posted a straight-sets win in the No. 4 singles spot against Lafayette … All three of his doubles victories came while paired with sophomore Alex Kim in the top spot of the lineup … The duo posted No. 1 doubles wins over NJIT, Millersville and Drexel … In the match against the Dragons, Martinez and Kim outlasted their opponents for a 7-6 (6) victory which clinched the doubles point for the Wildcats … Also played matches with freshman Anthony Prokurat at No. 2 doubles and with Collin Klumb in the No. 3 doubles spot.
 
2019-20: Tallied an 11-5 record in singles action and a 14-8 mark in doubles competition during the year … Ranked third on the team in doubles victories … As a singles player was 10-3 in the fall tournaments and 1-2 in dual matches … Won seven straight matches to open the fall season, including all three of his singles matchups at the Villanova Invitational … Won the Flight 4 bracket at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational with consecutive victories over opponents from Mary Washington, La Salle, Saint Joseph’s and Delaware … Split a pair of matches at both the Brown Invite and the Villanova Classic … Played two matches at the ITA Atlantic Regional, falling in the first round but rebounding to win a consolation draw matchup in three sets over a player from George Mason … Teamed with Collin Klumb to go 9-1 in fall doubles matches … They won their matches by scores of 6-2, 6-2 and 6-1 to win the Bryn Mawr draw at the Villanova Invitational … The pair also defeated opponents from Connecticut and Quinnipiac at the Brown Invite, split a pair of matches at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational and tallied wins over La Salle, Drexel and Monmouth at the Villanova Classic … Had a 5-4 doubles record in dual competition … Played mostly with Tyler Roth and the pair was 4-4 at the No. 2 position … They clinched the doubles point with victories against both UC Riverside and UC San Diego, and also tallied wins over Delaware and Connecticut.
 
2018-19: Compiled an 8-5 record in singles play and a 9-10 mark in doubles competition … Went 4-3 in the fall tournaments and 4-2 in dual matches in singles … Played in the fifth and sixth spots in the lineup and tallied victories over Colgate, Drexel, Bentley and Wilkes … Won all three of his matches against Lafayette, Chestnut Hill and Rider at the Villanova Invitational … Had an 8-6 tournament record and a 1-4 dual mark in doubles competition … He and Mike Czlonka went 3-0 at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational and recorded wins over Harford CC, Lehigh and Bucknell … The pair won two consolation draw matches at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship, posting wins over UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz before falling to a USC team in the consolation quarterfinals … Teamed with Tommy Mulflur for a 6-1 win at the No. 2 doubles spot in a 7-0 team win over Rider.
 
2017-18: Made his collegiate debut by going 5-4 in singles competition and 6-4 in doubles action as a freshman … Compiled a 5-3 singles record in the fall tournaments … Defeated players from Lafayette and Wagner to go 2-2 in his singles matches at the season-opening Villanova Invitational … Lost in the first round of the Flight 4 singles bracket at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational but rebounded with three consecutive wins over opponents from Saint Joseph’s and La Salle in the consolation draw … Lost to an opponent from UC Riverside at the No. 5 singles position in his only dual singles match … He and Jimmy Purdy were 4-1 in doubles during the fall season … They tallied a third place finish in the White draw at the Villanova Invitational … They advanced past teams from Lafayette and Delaware in the first two rounds, fell to Wagner in the third round and bounced back to beat another Delaware team in the third place match … The pair was also 1-1 in the Flight 2 doubles bracket at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational … Played with Matt Phelps at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship … They lost an opening round match in the main draw but won their matches in the consolation round of 32 and round of 16 … Played one dual match at the No. 3 doubles position, falling with Phelps to a team from Concordia University Irvine.
