2019: Started 4 of 5 games … Recorded one assist versus Loyola Marymount (CA). 

2018: Started 19 games and came off of the bench once ... Had 14 points (6 goals, 2 assists) ... Recorded two assists in the win at Notre Dame ... Scored a goal against William & Mary ... Tallied goals in back-to-back games against South Carolina and the game winner in double overtime against Syracuse ... scored the game-winning goal in the season opener versus Air Force at the JMU Invitational.

2017: Sat out and earned a redshirt due to injury 

2016: Appeared in 14 games ... Scored first collegiate goal against ETSU for the game winner in the NCAA Tournament ... Tallied the game winner against No. 10 Charlotte in the Round of 32.

High School: Played club soccer for BFC Barca 97 Elite ... Played at Lake Braddock High earning two letters under coach Joseph Soos ... Named team MVP his junior season as well as All-Met, All-Region and All-Conference ... Helped lead his club team to three appearances in the Dallas Cup and was a three-time Virginia State Cup semi-finalist.
Personal: Born November 22, 1997 to Rene and Shanin … Has one sister, Sydney … Father was an All-City and All-State soccer player in 1983 in Arlington and played for College du Lmean in Geneva, Switzerland ... Majoring in management.

We are very fortunate to get such a top-level attacking player from the ACC this late in the game. Nico has the potential to score a lot of goals for our program.
