Former Villanova Wildcat Dylan Middlebrook joined the Men's Soccer coaching staff of his alma mater in August 2024.

Middlebrook played for head coach Tom Carlin from 2018-22. He played in 16 games in 2021 for a Wildcats' side that reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history and recorded the first-ever NCAA Tournament victory (1-0 at Vermont).

After completing his soccer career at Villanova, Middlebrook spent the 2023 season at William & Mary as a graduate transfer, where he saw action in 13 games.

Prior to attending Villanova, the native of Brooklyn, N.Y., was named to New England Soccer Journal Top 30 pro prospects, Players to Watch, and Best Academy XI. He also served as captain of 2017/18 Beachside Academy squad. And reached the USSDA playoffs in 2016. During his time at South Kent, he was the only underclassman to start on a team that won a high school national championship in 2015-16 while finishing the year undefeated. USSDA rules did not allow him to compete on the high school level as a junior and senior.
