Brian Beacham serves as the Chief Athletics Operating Officer and a senior associate athletic director at Villanova, a position he's held since August of 2023. Beacham also functions as the primary sport administrator for men's lacrosse, men's soccer and golf as well as the secondary sport administrator for men's basketball.
Beacham has oversight of the Villanova Athletics fiscal resources, including the development and monitoring of the department’s annual operating and capital budgets. He also manages contract negotiations and assists in developing strategic initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities for Villanova Athletics as a whole.
Beacham directly oversees external operations, ticket operations, facilities and operations, travel, equipment and NIL strategies. He is a liaison between Villanova Athletics, Villanova Sports Properties and Legends and manages Villanova’s partnership with Nike as part of his responsibilities.Â
Beacham came to Villanova in March of 2016 as the Assistant Director for Athletics Development, then was promoted to Associate Director in 2018. In 2019, Beacham was named the Executive Director for Athletic Development where he led all areas of the Villanova Athletic Fund.
Prior to VU, Beacham spent seven years at Cabrini, where he served as sports information director, assistant and associate athletic director while assisting with athletic fundraising and sport administrator duties for golf and tennis.
Beacham also previously functioned as a graduate extern in Temple University's media relations department and an athletic communications intern at Syracuse.
Beacham earned a Bachelor's degree in 2006 and a Master's in 2010 in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple, where he served four years as a men's basketball manager under head coach John Chaney.
Beacham and his wife Liz have three children – Reegan, Mack and Colbie – and reside in Havertown, Pa.
