Brissman/Lundeen Invitational (10/4): Won his second straight race and posted a winning time of 24:59.2 at Augustana;
UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational (10/19): Posted a fourth place finish with a time of 24:57.9 over 8000 meters at Lake Breeze Golf Club which also hosted the NCAA Midwest Regional later in the year;
UAA Championships (11/2): Won his first career UAA cross country title with a winning time of 24:50.3 at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pa. … Became the first UChicago men’s runner since 2003 to win the conference cross country crown … Earned his third career All-UAA honor in cross country and was a first team performer for the second year in a row;
NCAA Midwest Regional (11/16): Won his fourth race of the season and his first career Midwest Region individual title … Posted a winning time of 24:32.6 which was a personal best for an 8000 meter cross country course … Garnered his second straight all-region honor and helped UChicago finish in fourth place in the team standings to solidify the Maroons chances of earning an at-large berth to the NCAA Championships;
NCAA Championships (11/23): Made history with a ninth place finish and a time of 24:38.8 at the national championships … Nabbed his second career All-America honor in cross country while recording the third-highest finish ever by a UChicago runner at the national meet … Helped the Maroons finish 12
th as a team at the NCAA meet which ranked as the program’s second-highest finish at the cross country championships.
2018 (UChicago): Earned his first career All-America honor and was also both an All-Midwest Region selection as well as a first team All-University Athletic Association performer … Competed in six races during the season and tallied top-20 individual finishes at each of the three postseason meets at the UAA Championships, the NCAA Midwest Regional and the NCAA Championships;
Fighting Saints Twilight Invite (8/31): Opened the season with a runner-up finish and a time of 15:49.6 over 5000 meters at St. Francis (Ill.);

2017 (UChicago): Competed in six races during his first collegiate season and was first or second in the team lineup in all six of his starts … Earned second team All-University Athletic Association honors for a 13
th place finish at the conference championships … Was the second finisher for UChicago at both the conference meet and the NCAA Midwest Regional … Finished first in the Maroons lineup in each of his first four collegiate races … Named the UAA Athlete of the Week after his collegiate debut;
Fighting Saints Twilight Invite (9/1): Earned conference Athlete of the Week honors after he led UChicago with a sixth place finish and a time of 15:29.4 over 5000 meters in the season opener at St. Francis (Ill.);
Vic Godfrey Open (9/9): Finished 15
th overall with a time of 26:13.7 on the 8000 meter course at Wisconsin-Parkside … Had the highest finish in the Maroons lineup and came in sixth among the non-Division I runners in the race;
Illinois Intercollegiate Championships (9/29): Tallied his third straight top-10 individual finish to begin his career as he came in seventh with a time of 25:27.4 on the 8K course at Olivet Nazarene;
Cowbell Classic (10/14): In the Pre-NCAA meet came in first in the team lineup and 31
st overall with a time of 25:48.45 over 8000 meters at Principia College;
UAA Championships (10/28): Came in second on the team and 13
th overall to earn second team All-UAA honors in the conference meet held at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park, N.J. … Recorded a time of 26:34.9 on the 8000 meter course;
NCAA Midwest Regional (11/11): Helped UChicago finish sixth out of 36 teams at the regional meet with a 40
th place overall finish out of 254 runners … Placed second in the team lineup and registered a season-best time of 24:35.9 over 8000 meters.
2020 (UChicago): Defended his UAA title in the 3000 meters and finished second in the 5000 meters for the second straight year … Competed at eight meets during the season;
Phoenix Invitational (1/11): Came in first in the Mile with a winning time of 4:22.19 at the Maroons annual home meet … Led off the 4x400 meter relay for a team which came in fourth in 3:41.59;
GVSU Bill Clinger Classic (1/17): Finished fifth in the 3000 meters in 8:29.24 at Grand Valley State;
I-55 Triangular (1/25): Ran the 1200 meters and finished third in the race with a time of 3:09.83;
“Squig” Converse Invitational and Multi (1/31): Runner-up in the 3000 meters with a time of 8:31.96 at Wisconsin-Whitewater;
Windy City Invitational (2/8): Notched his second home win of the season in the Mile with a season-best time of 4:15.59;
Pat Heenan Invitational (2/14): Came in fifth in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:44.11 in his first 5K race of the year;
UAA Championships (2/29-3/1): Won his second straight UAA title in the 3000 meters with a season-best time of 8:25.95 … Came in second in the 5K for the second straight year and had a season-best time of 14:37.52 in that race … Garnered All-UAA honors in both the 3K and the 5K;
Wartburg Qualifier (3/6): Anchored the distance medley relay squad which recorded a time of 10:08.28, finishing seventh in the race and notching a national top-10 time.
2019 (UChicago): Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3000 meters … Won the UAA title in the 3K and also earned all-conference honors with a runner-up finish in the 5000 meters at the conference championships … Competed at seven meets overall during the season and ran at distances ranging from the 800 meters through the 5K;
GVSU Holiday Open (12/7): Made his season debut by running the 5000 meters and posting a time of 14:35.89;
“Squig Converse Invitational and Multi (1/25): Ran the 3K for the first time during the season and finished in sixth place with a time of 8:40.87;
Windy City Invitational (2/2): Came in first in the Mile with a winning time of 4:19.52 at the Maroons home meet … His mark was the fastest Mile for a UChicago runner during the year;
Pat Heenan Invitational (2/8): Runner-up in the 3000 meters with a time of 8:31.55 at North Central;
Margaret Bradley Invitational (2/16): Came in second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:58.42 at the Maroons home meet;
UAA Championships (2/23-2/24): Won the 3000 meters in 8:25.89 and finished second in the 5000 meters in 14:40.22 at the conference championships … Was responsible for 18 team points as UChicago came in third as a team at the conference meet for the second straight year … His winning time of 8:25.89 in the 3000 meters was the third-fastest on the UChicago all-time indoor performance list in the 3K … Also posted the No. 4 indoor time in the 5000 meters with his time of 14:40.22;
NCAA Championships (3/8-3/9): Recorded a season-best time of 8:23.37 in the 3000 meters in the preliminary heats on the first day of the national meet … Came in 11
th in the final the next day in 8:33.04.
2018 (UChicago): Competed in five meets during the season and raced individually in the Mile and the 3000 meters … Ran the 3K and anchored the distance medley relay at the UAA Championships;
Phoenix Invitational (1/13): Made his collegiate track debut by winning the Mile and running the third leg of the 4x400 meter relay in a home meet … Posted a winning time of 4:27.61 in the Mile and helped the 4x400 relay squad finish fourth in 3:36.82;
I-55 Triangular (1/20): Won his second straight individual race with a first place finish and a winning time of 8:46.78 in the 3000 meter;
GVSU Lints Alumni Meet (1/27): Came in seventh in the Mile with a season-best time of 4:17.93;
Midwest Invitational (2/10): Posted a time of 9:00.53 and finished seventh in the 3000 meters at Wisconsin-Whitewater;
UAA Championships (2/24-2/25): Anchored the distance medley relay which finished in sixth place with a time of 10:27.48 at the conference meet … Ran the 3000 meters individually and came in eighth in 8:45.49 … The time was the fastest by any UChicago runner in the 3K during the season.
2021 (UChicago): Qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the 5000 meters and the 10000 meters … Raced in those events and the 1500 meters during the season while appearing at five different meets;
Benedictine Invite (4/9): Finished first in the 1500 meters in his first official race since March 2020 … Posted a winning time of 4:15.59 to kick off a string of three straight first-place finishes to open the year;
UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative (4/23): Came in first in the 10000 meters with a time of 29:43.92 which qualified him for the NCAA Championships later in the year;
Don Church Twilight (4/30): Earned his qualifying spot for the NCAA meet in the 5000 meters with a first place finish and a winning time of 14:20.98 at Wheaton;
St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet (5/15): Came in second in the 1500 meters in 3:50.71 in a qualifying meet at St. Francis (Ill.);
NCAA Championships (5/27, 5/29): Came in 12
th in the 10000 meters on the first night of the national championships and recorded a time of 31:10.32 in the race … Came back two days later to race in the 5000 meters and came in 10
th overall with a time of 14:42.80.
2018 (UChicago): Competed at six meets during his first collegiate outdoor season … Scored in the 5000 meters at the UAA Championships and recorded one of the fastest outdoor times in school history in the 5K;
Viking Olympics (3/29): Posted a first place finish in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:00.04 and came in sixth in the 800 meters in 2:00.72 in his first outdoor races of the year;
Benedictine Relays (4/13): Runner-up in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:17.75;
Don Church Twilight (4/21): Ran the 1500 meters at Wheaton and finished third with a season-best time of 3:57.97;
UAA Championships (4/29): Scored four team points in the 5000 meters with a fourth place finish and a time of 15:30.61 at the conference in Pittsburgh, Pa.;
Dr. Keeler Invitational (5/10): Recorded a time of 14:53.98 in the 5K;
Gregory Invitational and Multi-Event (5/16): Recorded the No. 6 outdoor time in school history in the 5000 meters with a mark of 14:38.75 … That time was good for a fifth place finish in his final race of the year.
