Harriton High School: Multi-sport athlete who earned a total of eight varsity letters during her scholastic career while playing field hockey and softball … As a senior was a field hockey captain who scored 20 goals and led her team to their first ever state appearance in program history … Earned two 2nd Team All Central league selections her sophomore and senior seasons… Named Offensive MVP her sophomore, junior and senior year… Selected as an All Central League honorable mention during her freshman and junior campaigns. 

Personal: From Penn Valley, Pa. … One of three children of Melissa and David Cognetti … her mother, Melissa, played Midfield for Cornell University Field Hockey… Has two siblings, Julia and Sophia … played seven years with Philly Hockey Club… selected for the U18 Nexus in 2025 and the U21 Nexus in 2026 … Chose to attend Villanova because of the connection she felt to the team … Noted the supportive team environment and focus on hard work and growth… has yet to declare a major.
