2018-19: As a junior, Krecsmar swam in 13 events, competing primarily in the freestyle and butterfly events. At the BIG EAST Championships, he swam in the 50 and 100-freestyle, the 100-fly, the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relays and the 200-medley relay. In the 50-freestyle and 100-butterfly at the championships Krecsmar set two new personal bests. He recorded a prelim time of 20.46 in the 50, his final time earned him a fourth-place finish. In the 100-fly he clocked in at 48.63 in the prelims and at 48.79 in the finals for second place. At the Brown Invite he set a new personal best in the 100-freestyle after clocking in at 45.64. While at the championships his 800-freestyle relay (6:37.08) team and 200-medley relay team (1:30.62) placed third. His 200 and 400-freestyle relay teams placed fourth in each event. For his performances in the 100-fly, 800-freestyle relay and 200-medley relay he was named to the All-BIG EAST Team for the third year in a row.

2017-18: Krecsmar was named to the All-BIG EAST Team for the second time for his performances in the 800-freestyle relay, 400-medley relay and 200 and 400-freestyle relays. He competed in nine events as a sophomore, primarily swimming in the medley relay, freestyle and freestyle relay events. He recorded new personal bests in the 50 and 100-meter freestyles and the 100-fly all at the BIG EAST Championships. In the 50-free he clocked a 20.51, in the 100-free he recorded a 45.90. In the 100-butterfly he touched the wall at 49.56. Krecsmar also helped his 400-medley relay (3:14.70) and 200-freestyle relay (1:20.78) teams to first place finishes and a third-place finish in the 800-freestyle relay (6:36.33) while also setting new program records in each.

2016-17: Named to the All-BIG EAST Team for his performances in the 200-yard freestyle relay, 800-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard medley relay at the BIG EAST Championships…Helped set school records in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:21.18) and 800-yard freestyle relay (6:39.40) at the meet…Finished in sixth place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.75, which was the second-fastest time on the team this season…Placed second in the “B” final and 10^thoverall in the 100-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 45.97…Also placed second in the “B” final and 10^thoverall in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:41.20…Competed in freestyle and butterfly events during his first collegiate season.
