2018-19: Grassi competed in nine events during her junior year, primarily swimming in the butterfly and freestyle events. At the BIG EAST Championships, she broke three of her personal bests and at the Brown Invite she broke one. At Brown she recorded a time of 24.77 in the 50-yard free and at the championships she clocked in at 5:00.26 in the 500-free for two personal bests. Her two other top times came at the championships in the 100-and 200-yard fly. Her time of 54.49 in the 100-fly placed Grassi first in the BIG EAST Conference and her split time in the 100 ranks her first for the 50-fly.  She clocked a time of 2:01.93 in the 200-fly for her last personal best. Grassi was also named to the All-BIG EAST Team for her performance in the 100-fly at the championships.

2017-18: Grassi competed in eight events during her sophomore year, primarily in the freestyle and butterfly. She recorded a new top time in the 100 and 200-yard fly at the BIG EAST Championships with a time of 55.11 in the 100-yard and a time of 2:03.19 in the 200-fly. Her time in the 100-fly earned her fifth place while her time int he 200-fly earned her sixth. She also broke her 50-yard freestyle time at the BIG EAST Championship after clocking in at 5:03.05.

2016-17: Competed primarily in the freestyle, butterfly and IM events during the season...Swam in three events at the BIG EAST Championships…Had a time of 5:08.45 in the 500-yard freestyle at the BIG EAST Championships…Raced to a time of 56.13 in the 100-yard butterfly at the meet…Recorded a time of 3:05.73 in the 200-yard butterfly at the BIG EAST Championships.

Langley High School: Four-year varsity letter winner under coach Ryan Jackson…Swam in the 100 Fly, 200 Fly, and 50 Free…Holds the conference record in the 100 Fly…Named an Honor Graduate and Scholar-Athlete…Member of the Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Joseph and Lia Grassi…Father graduated from Villanova in 1985…Has a sister, Emma…Enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with the goal of becoming a lawyer…Chose Villanova because she fell in love with the academic environment and swim team.
