2018: Ran in the first two meets of the indoor season and raced in both the 60 meters and the 300 meters; Jack Pyrah Invitational (12/2): Finished eighth in the 300 meters with a time of 36.58 and posted a time of 7.44 in the 60 meters ... Anchored the 4x400 meter relay squad which came in seventh with a time of 3:30.25; Nittany Lion Challenge (1/13): Posted a time of 7.49 in the preliminary heats of the 60 meters.
2017: Jack Pyrah Invitational (12/3): Competed as an unattached runner in the first meet of the season and tied for a 14th place finish in the 60 meters with a time of 7.51.
2019: Recorded personal best times in both the 100 meters and the 200 meters ... Competed in both events at three meets during the season; Penn Challenge (3/23): Recorded times of 11.76 in the 100 meters and 23.57 in the 200 meters at the outdoor season opener; Sam Howell Invitational (4/6): Came in 12th in the 100 meters with a personal best time of 11.56 and also recorded a mark of 23.98 in the 200 meters; Mason Spring Invitational (4/13): Tallied a personal best time of 23.07 in the 200 meters and ran the 100 meters in 11.71.
2018: Competed at two meet and ran in the 100Â meters at the BIG EAST Championships; Temple Owls Invite (4/13): Placed 12th in the 100 meters with a time of 11.57 and came in 13th in the 200 meters with a time of 23.35; BIG EAST Championships (5/11): Competed in the preliminary heats of the 100 meters and placed 13th overall with a time of 11.65.
Manhattan:Â Spent his sophomore year at Manhattan in 2015-16, where he played baseball and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) ... Appeared in two games during the baseball season and went 1-for-5 with a triple, run scored and run batted in ... His triple contributed to the school and MAAC conference record total of 19 which the Jaspers had that season ... Also recorded three putouts in the field in his only three chances ... Played for the Bristol Blues in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League in the summer of 2016 and appeared on SportsCenter for a diving catch he made in right field (Link) ... Helped to organize an athlete-hosted fundraiser through the St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise money for pediatric cancer research.
Arizona:Â Spent his freshman year at Arizona in 2014-15, where he was part of the final recruiting class under longtime head coach Andy Lopez.
Xavier High School:Â Earned four varsity letters in baseball as a center fielder, as well as one letter each in basketball as a small forward and football as a wide receiver.
Club Baseball:Â Played for Brooklyn's Youth Service League on teams that advanced to the 15U Ken Griffey, Jr. AABC World Series in Owasso, Okla. and the 16U PONY Super Regional in Greensboro, N.C.
Personal: Born 4/25/96 in Brooklyn, N.Y. ... Youngest of three children of Michael and Jeanne Morris ... Has an older sister, Julia, and an older brother, Daniel ... Father competed for the Villanova track & field team from 1977-81 and was the BIG EAST outdoor champion in the pole vault in 1981 in the Wildcats inaugural year in the conference ... He was a member of the final Villanova team coached by Jumbo Elliott and is still ranked on the program's all-time top-10 list in the pole vault ... Has four other family members who competed in the pole vault at the collegiate level, including cousins Bryan (2012-16) and Connor (2016-20) at New Hampshire and his uncle Kenneth at Delaware (1977-81) and Ken at South Alabama (1995-99) ... Older brother, Daniel, played college baseball at Villanova his freshman year in 2012 and his final three collegiate seasons at Cornell ... Appeared in 13 games for the Wildcats during his freshman season ... Hobbies include boxing and going to the beach ... Is a fan of the New York Mets ...
