2016: North Carolina: Was the individual winner in each of the first two races of the season; Elon Opener (9/1): Champion of the 4000 meter race with a time of 13:41.7; adidas Cross Country Challenge (9/16): Covered the 5000 meter course at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. in a winning time of 16:42.4.
2015: North Carolina: Earned All-ACC honors and was named to the All-ACC Women's Cross Country Academic Team ... One of the top three finishers on the team in all four of her starts during the season; Princeton Interregional Meet (10/3): Opened the season with a 14th place finish and a time of 21:19.7 over 6000 meters; Wisconsin adidas Invitational (10/16): Led the Tar Heels with a 55th place overall finish ... Posted a time of 20:33.0 in the 6000 meter race; ACC Championships (10/30): Came in a team-best 12th place at the conference meet ... Earned All-ACC recognition for the second straight year ... Registered the sixth-fastest overall time in school history and the third-fastest indoors ... Lowered her previous personal best time by more than 15 seconds and ran the fastest 5K by a Villanova runner since the 2012 outdoor season; JDL DMR Invitational (2/16): Set a meet record in the 3000 meters and won the fastest section of the race in 9:15.07 ... Recorded winning times of 4:50.96 in the Mile and 9:51.47 in the 3K; Notre Dame Invitational (1/20): Runner-up in the Mile and established a personal best time of 4:45.13; Camel City Invitational (2/3): Ran in the Camel City Elite race in the 3000 meters ... Came in seventh in the section and registered a personal best time of 9:12.61; UCS Invitational (2/16): Anchored the Tar Heels to a runner-up finish in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:17.78 ... The time was converted down to 11:10.60 based on the flat track surface; ACC Championships (2/22-2/24): Led the DMR squad to a fourth place finish on the first night of the conference meet ... Ran the third leg of the 4x400 meter relay for a squad which came in third with a time of 4:06.28; Dick Taylor Carolina Cup (1/16): Individual winner in the 3000 meters with a winning time of 9:39.67; Hokie Invitational (1/23): Tallied a fourth place finish in the Mile and crossed the finish line in 4:49.77; Hilton Garden Invitational (1/31): Came in eighth in the Camel City Elite race with a time of 9:30.63; Husky Classic (2/13): Finished 52nd in the Mile and posted a time of 4:54.54; UCS Invitational (2/21): Runner-up in the Mile with a season-best time of 4:47.12; ACC Championships (2/26, 2/28): Anchored the distance medley relay to a seventh place finish with a time of 11:28.00 on the first night of the conference meet ... That is the second-fastest mark in school history, trailing only the school record of 32:22.96 set by Carole Zajac almost 27 years earlier ... Personal: Born 5/27/96 in Springfield, Va. … One of five children of John Alcorta and Linda Wuckovich … Siblings are Christina, Bella, Iñaki and Xavier … Mother competed for the track & field teams at Anderson University … Graduated from North Carolina in the spring of 2018 and enrolled in graduate school at Villanova to pursue a degree in public administration and with hopes of becoming a public health administrator in her professional career ... Came to Villanova with one year of remaining eligibility in all three seasons (cross country, indoor, outdoor) ... Chose to continue her education at Villanova because it offered the degree program she was looking for and because of the history of success of the Wildcats track & field program.
