VILLANOVA, Pa. – Fresh off the program's first ever berth in the BIG EAST title game, Villanova women's lacrosse will begin its journey back to the conference championship bout in September as head coach Jill Batcheller announced the team's fall schedule on Tuesday.

The Wildcats will begin the 2025-26 campaign at the alma mater of their head coach as September 21st features a doubleheader against Syracuse and Canisius on the campus of the Orange.

The following Friday (Sept. 26), VU will host an intrasquad scrimmage at Villanova Stadium to kick off Parents Weekend on the Main Line.

The first Sunday of October features a quintet of regional opponents as the 'Cats will participate in the Philly 5, hosted this year by Temple.

Rounding out the fall calendar will be a trip to South Jersey on Oct. 11 where Villanova will square off against Rutgers and Binghamton in a twin bill at Moorestown High School.

Villanova will announce the championship segment of their schedule later on this fall.
