CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—Sophomore thrower Tristan Bolinsky (Gordon, Pa.) recorded a mark of 52.15 meters in the hammer at the Virginia Challenge on Thursday evening. Bolinsky came in 13^th in the competition at Lannigan Field to open up a busy weekend of competition for Villanova at the Virginia meet and locally at the Widener Invitational.
 
Bolinsky recorded the mark of 52.15 meters on the second of his three attempts. It is his second-longest throw of the season and the third-longest of his career. Bolinsky is also slated to compete in the discus on Friday afternoon in Virginia.
