NEWARK, Del.—Women's divers Abigail Mastrantoni (Charlotte, N.C.) and Andrea Holtz (Rosemount, Minn.) competed on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at Rawstrom Natatorium on Friday afternoon as Villanova began its season with a dual meet at Delaware. The swimming events are scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.
 
Mastrantoni finished in third place and tallied career best scores in both events during Friday's competition. She scored 230.65 points on the 1-meter board to eclipse the total of 225.98 she recorded against Princeton last year. In the 3-meter competition, Mastrantoni scored 217.75 points to surpass her score of 206.17 set against Connecticut during her freshman season a year ago.
 
Holtz tallied scores of 206.15 on the 1-meter board and 213.70 on the 3-meter board during Friday's action.
