AUBURN, Ala. - Sophomore sprinter Danielle Burns (Phoenix, Ariz.) and freshman Sarah Jones (Sewell, N.J.) competed for Villanova at the War Eagle Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Burns tallied fourth place finish in both the 100 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles at Hutsell-Rosen track on the Auburn campus.

In the preliminary heats of the 100 hurdles, Burns posted a time of 14.17 and was ranked seventh out of 29 competitors. Jones also ran in the shorter hurdles and recorded a time of 14.38 to finish 10th overall in the preliminaries. Burns moved on to the final and was clocked in 14.21 to finish fourth.

Burns tallied a time of 1:01.52 to finish fourth in the 400 meter hurdles, while Jones posted a time of 25.51 in the 200 meters.
