WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Freshman distance runner Ann Campbell (Mission Hills, Kan.) and junior thrower Kristen Erickson (Princeton, Mass.) each competed for Villanova as the Colonial Relays got started at Zable Stadium on Thursday afternoon. The meet will get into full swing starting on Friday.

Campbell ran in the unseeded section of the 3000 meters and had a strong race to finish seventh out of 52 runners. She posted a time of 10:02.27. Erickson competed in the unseeded section of the hammer, where her throw of 32.61 meters put her in 25th place.
