Issue, MD- On April 1-2 at the George Washington Invitational in Issue, Md., the Villanova golf team finished in a ninth place tie with a two-day 638 (321-317). The Wildcats' top finisher was Garrett Feduke, who placed t-28th with a two-day score of 80-78-158 (+14).

McNeese State won the event with a score of 616, followed by George Mason (624), Lehigh (624), American (629), and Siena (632). Winding down the top 10 were Iona (633) in sixth, Temple (634) in seventh, Dayton (637) in eighth, Villanova and George Washington (638) tied for ninth.

Other finishers for Villanova include: Brian Hickey in 36th place (81-78-150), Matt Gugino in 40th (80-79-159), Chris Ellis in 73rd (80-86-166), and John Keller in 78th (85-82-167).
