On Tuesday, September 7, the Villanova Women's Tennis team posted the second victory of their fall season as they defeated the LaSalle Explorers by a score of 9-0.

The only singles player to have to go three sets in her match against LaSalle was Julie Darne at first singles. Darne dropped the first set to LaSalle=s Khan but recovered to take the next two sets to win the match 4-6, 6-1, 7-6. Other singles winners on the afternoon for the Wildcats include Ashley Young, Megan Lacroix, Jen Zick, Liz Farrell, and Anne Morgan.

Villanova sailed through the doubles matches with ease as well and came out victorious at each of the three posts.

The team returns to action this weekend, September 11-12, when they will participate in the Lehigh University Tournament.
